4-23-18 Ahead of Schedule!

Spring is here, and the City of Springfield plans to complete the project and open all lanes of traffic by early June. Already, the City has opened the westbound left on Brooklyn, and Dari Mart customers are appreciative.

The project is four months ahead of schedule.

A stand of large trees will contribute to the urban forest canopy. Traffic studies show that street trees slow traffic and help people focus on safe driving.
The wetland plants in the roundabouts will filter pollutants from rainwater.
Recycled from San Diego, these light fixtures received new LED bulbs to increase energy efficiency.

We will continue to keep you informed, and thank you again for your support through construction.
